This Ruger manufactured second variation blue finished six shot fluted steel cylinder in 22 LR caliber is for the new model Single Six single action revolver and is in very good condition with light wear. These second variation fluted cylinders have the six smaller individual recesses for each individual cartridge as opposed to the earlier cylinders which have one larger recess on the back of the cylinder for every cartridge.  (file photo)
